The 27 year-old renowned actor started his career in the showbiz industry after meeting the director Daniel Guzman by luck.
Guzman suggested the actor give an audition for the movie Nothing in Return. Herrán nailed the audition and bagged the role in 2015.
After his success in the movie, he got part in many other projects. He was still busy with his movie projects when he got to be part of Money Heist.
In the show, Herrán portrayed the innocent and nerdy Aníbal Cortés, who goes by the name Rio among his peers.
