Despite Quentin’s net worth being estimated at $120 million, his mother’s net worth pushes to a maximum of $500,000 only. Speaking on The Moment podcast, Quentin revealed that he refuses to financially support his mother after she refused to support his dream.
He recalled the incident which changed their relationship forever. He said he was scolded by his mother for writing screenplays during school. Quentin was a 12-year-old boy when his mother amidst her anger said something he would never forget. She said “ oh, and by the way this little writing career? This little writing career you are doing? This s##t is over.” Her comments had a very deep impact on the child who vowed that he would become a successful writer and that her mother would never benefit from his career.
Quentin told the host Brian Koppelman, “I was in my head and I go ‘OK lady when I become a successful writer you would never see one penny from my success”.
