The star of high school football grew up in Baltimore, Maryland, with his big sister. His father is Alan Carr, and his mother is Tammy Carr. 

Carr had a stable family where his mother and sisters were his biggest supporters. His family always supported his career in basketball.

Though he is just 5.6 ft tall, which is a small height among the basketball players, it never stopped him from playing basketball.

Carr started playing basketball ever since his teenage days when he was still in high school. He not only played but also led his high school team towards many victorious games.

People from his neighborhood and hometown were his biggest fans. They used to come and watch his games. His swift movement, ball-handling skills, and many skillful dunks made people respect him as a basketball player.

During his play, he even earned the title of “ Crime stopper” as, during his games, the crime rate in east Baltimore would drop significantly.

After breaking up with Williams, Carr started dating his present girlfriend, Aevyn Rae. The couple even had a daughter in June 2018, whom they are raising together.

Education

The Point Guard of the Baltimore Hawks spent a prime portion of his early life in his hometown. He even did all of his schooling until high school in Baltimore.

Carr went to Patterson High school for his schooling. Once high school was over, Carr went to New Jersey to join Seton Hall University.

Career

The Point Guard of the Baltimore Hawks started his career as early as when he was in high school. When he was in high school, he played for the Patterson school team. Not only did he play, he even gave his team a victorious win against the Digital harbor with a 76-62 score.

He also was the one who led his team, The Baltimore Sun, to win against the champions of Class 2A, Baltimore City College. For all of these, he was even named as the Boys Athlete of the Week twice.

It was just the start of his career in high school basketball. During his sophomore year, he scored 50 points during the Big Miller Christmas Classic with seven three-pointers and twelve two-field goals.

His remarkable points in a single game even broke the fifty-year-old record of the single-game scoring in his school. By the end of his Sophomore year, he already had twenty-eight scholarship offers.

Despite his short height among other basketball players, his games were always entertaining because of his speed and ball-handling skills. He was already a celebrity in his hometown, and his playing was even considered a must-watch phenomenon.

After sophomore, his game just got even better and better. He led his team to the Class 4A Championship and scored more than 1000 points in his two years of high school.

Because of his talent and stunning gameplay, he even got a chance to play international games even before graduating from high school. He led his team in the Junior International Tournament held in 2011 in Milan, Italy. 

Carr not only led his team to win the game, he even impressed the many Italians who came to watch the game. In one of the games, they even carried him from the court.

While in Italy, the coach of Lottomatica Roma, a professional Italian basketball club, approached him with a contract of 75 thousand USD. It was the first time in history when a European club offered such an amount to a player who had not even completed their high school.

Though the offer was tempting, Carr showed an interest in playing in the USA. Once he was back, he got drafted to Delaware 87ers in the third round of the NBA Development League draft in 2013.

He debuted in the team with his game against Canton Charge, which they lost. Carr then requested the team to release him in 2014, citing that he was not getting enough playtime.

When he got released from the team, he went to try for the NBA, but sadly he did not get drafted.

However, this did not stop his career as a basketball player. He signed a year-long contract with the Canadian National Basketball League team, the Saint John Mill rats. During his games with the Rats, he got suspended twice for pouring his frustration on the court. It made his games hard, and he got released just after playing nine games.

He then started playing for his hometown team, the Baltimore Hawks of the American Basketball Association. After playing for a year, he then moved to play at the Cypriot North League in 2017

After playing in Cyprus for two years, Carr finally came to play for the Baltimore Hawks in 2019. He loved playing for his hometown and for the people he knew. He even went on to score 65 points which was the franchise best.

During his high school days, he was a legend. ESPN gave him the title of High School Player of the Week. He even got a 92 grade and was the number 9 point guard in the recruiting class of 2013. 

To this day, Carr is known as one of the quickest and explosive scorers in the country.

Controversy

In 2012, Carr got charged with second-degree assault and reckless endangerment.

His former girlfriend, Treshonda Williams, was the one who reported him for domestic assault. She told the judge that he pushed her to the ground and then started beating her. She even showed a picture of her bruised face as evidence.

The court found Carr guilty and ruled him to compensate Williams. Carr also got ordered to go for twenty-two counselling sessions.
