Some Facts About Patrisse Cullors

1.  Her brothers were illegally misconducted by police officers where Cullors witnessed the officers slamming her brothers on the wall without any offense. At that time her brothers were just 11 and 13 years old.

2.  In 1999, his younger brother Monte Cullors was arrested for robbing his mother’s car and during his imprisonment time in Los Angeles County jail, he was physically tortured by the officers. He was also forced to drink up the toilet water.

3.  After those disturbing behaviors with her brother, she started movements to replace the prison system with a system of rehabilitation where the government will be extra concentrated towards growth rather than brutal punishments.
