Tomac did his schooling till eighth grade from the Battle Rock Charter School. However, he did not continue going to high school after eighth grade. Instead, he was home-schooled. 

He completed high school earlier than others. But he did not continue his education after high school and started his career.

Career and Yamaha

Tomac started his career as soon as he completed high school at the age of seventeen.

He started his professional career in 2010 by taking part in the 250cc AMA Hangtown Motocross, which he even won. This win made him the first racer ever to win their professional debut race.

He then took his career further by taking part in250cc Supercross Championship. It took him two years, but he finally claimed the title of the Supercross Champion in 2012.

It was just a start as he won the 250cc AMA Motocross just a year after.

He continued his journey by taking part in many races despite suffering from injuries in 2014 and 2015.

During his career, he initially rode for the Geico Honda for more than six years. However, he terminated his contract with Honda in 2016 and moved to ride for the Kawasaki factory racing team.

He represented the Kawasaki team till this year before ending his contract on mutual terms after ranking third in the Motocross Championship. 

If rumors are true, Tomac will join the Energy/Star Yamaha racing team by 2022.
