Career

Vicki was discovered by Mitzi Shore, owner of the Hollywood Comedy Store, at a Sunday night showcase when she was visiting the La Jolla Comedy Store. She is recognized as one of the best comedians in the United States.

Vicki became an overnight sensation owing to her newfound fame on AGT, after two decades of hard work in comedy. Vicki started her comedy career at the age of forty, having previously worked at the family’s carpet store with her father, Peter, a former Pittsburgh Steeler. Vicki then persuaded her parents to sell their carpet store and retire.

Vicki entered the daunting world of stand-up comedy with enthusiasm and passion. 

She honed her skills by appearing on E! Television’s “The Next Breakout Star from the Comedy Store.”  and went on to become a member of Jay Leno’s NBC Laugh Squad after winning California’s Funniest Female.

Vicki won Nick@Nite’s Funniest Mom in America, a reality show competition. She then used her winnings to fund one of her favorite pastimes: getting married. Vicki opened her own mobile wedding service, “Wedding Chapel to Go,” after arranging many of her own weddings as well as the weddings of most of her associates. She also became an ordained minister.

Vicki began her nationwide Trailer Nasty Tour in 2018 after her remarkable success on AGT. Her Trailerpalooza Tour began in 2019. Vicki Barbolak’s Trailer Park Tuesdays, a residency at the Jimmy Kimmel Club in Las Vegas, was recently revealed. 

In addition, Vicki began hosting a weekly web show named Big Girls Don’t Cry in 2020 where she provides tips and shares her crazy life. The show emphasizes making the most of being a curvy woman by highlighting the beauty in all of us. With her co-host, the funny Amber Rose, and comedian Mike Vinn as their on-set producer, she provides real-life hacks and practical advice.
